Heisenberg June 26, 2020 Used Centric rotors and these ProAct pads. They are quiet, have good feel, just like OEM pads. Great for a daily driver. I've even reused the rotors a few times and just did a pad slap and that works fine. No pulsating, or other brake problems. 5/11/19 Edit: Just used these pads again. Rotors were warped, put new rotors on, so also changed the pads since I was in there and everything was apart. These pads had 85,000 miles on them and were only about 60% worn. Still had 40% life left. These are the best pads you can buy for Honda/Acura vehicles in my opinion. SA May 21, 2019 Ordered these brake pads to replace rotor along with it. Matched these with the centric rotors. And it is a very good combo. With my Advanced auto semi metallic pads I got dust right after I cleaned the wheels. Now with my weekly washes I leave the rims alone, virtually no dust after 2 weeks of driving. I bled the brakes and I did do a standard break in procedure. The brake pedal feel isn't different or anything. But no noise no squeaks. And I did use the grease provided on the contact points. And then silicone on the back of the pads. And the price of these are to good compared to 70 bucks else where. Drvajeep November 26, 2019 These pads are great! Quiet, clean and has a better than OE pedal feel and stopping power. The only reason for the 4 star is these pads did not come with any metal slides. I had to reuse my old stuff. For the price of these pads, they should be including hardware. CJ March 6, 2018 Work great on my 2005 Acura TL. Had them about 7 months now. Quiet, stop well and smooth. I paired them with the Hawk Performance HUS946 Quiet Slot Brake Rotor. My rotors were constantly warping, even the OEM and even drilled and slotted ones. Was using the Autozone premium pads. They lured me in with the promise of lifetime replacement (I have over 200K miles and am going for 300K). The free replacement wasn't worth it. These pads are so much superior. I don't know if the warping was caused by the pads or the rotors, but so far this combo is perfect 7 months later. eilleilleT August 8, 2017 2009 Honda Accord EX-L i4 Sedan Absolutely amazing! Replaced my front OEM pads (I will never ever go OEM with brakes again) with these in late March of this year, and they still have a lot of bite! Changed the front rotors to Wagner BD125674E in early June. I've put about 6000 miles on the pads and maybe 5700 miles on the rotors, and they're all still strong! I'll definitely buy them again!!!!...... if I'm looking for a "replacement". If I'm looking for an "upgrade", I don't think I'd get this particular set of pads. EC October 7, 2017 Had to change the rotors on my Honda Accord due to a bad vibration/shimmy under high speed braking when warm. Reading that the combination of Centric rotors and Akebono pads were good I decided to try this. The set up is great, there is no vibration only smooth quiet braking. The only extras I had to buy were brake pad spreader clips. Check the Centric website to do the proper bed in of the pads to the rotors. I usually use Honda pads but they cost more and I'm sure that Akebono is the OEM. The Amazon price was the best on the web. I recommend these pads. Make sure to grease all the pins, ears, shims. Customer December 3, 2015 I purchased these October 27, 2011, so I have had these installed for a little over two years now. I don't remember the installation which we can say is a good thing :) I however do remember plenty of times that these brake pads have brought me to a quick and controlled stop. I installed these on a 2004 Acura TSX 6spd with no issues and they have never created any sort of noise that I have noticed and have worn very well over the course of two years all while stop-and-go driving in Atlanta.
